The WebCT system is designated to support the electronic
courses of the University. This system running on Dell PE2850 (for the SQL database of WebCT v6 data repository)
and Dell PE1850 (for the web application front-end),
provides an e-learning platform hosting nearly 1,000 electronic courses
set up by different departments under the software platform, WebCT. The
WebCT system enables students to access the web-based course materials
set up by teachers at anytime and anywhere.

- 2 x 3.0GHz Xeon processors for each node
- 4GB of memory for each node
- 2x 73GB harddisks for Web front-end; 2x 73GB and 4x 146GB harddisks for the SQL database

- Redhat Linux ES 3 for Web front-end; Microsoft Windows 2003 and SQL datasbase 2005 for database
