Procedure to turn on Windows Firewall in Windows XP

1. Go to Control Panel by click and select Start-> Settings -> Control Panel. Double click Windows Firewall.





2. Click the General Tab, select On (recommended).

3. Click the Exceptions Tab, add exceptions by checking the Programs and Services which require network connections. Click OK to save and exit.
