Sophos Anti-Virus: Troj/Wlook-A
- Spyware Trojan
The Trojan horse "Troj/Wlook-A" causes the following
phenomena:
- the network connection of an infected computer fails from
time to time (disconnects)
- it slows down the network
- IP address conflict occurs in a number of PCs in the same
subnet because the Trojan spoofs IP addresses
An infected computer will send lots of fake ARP requests
in the local network. This process repeats in a continuous
loop causing congestion and degradation in network performance.
