i.      Start IE and click "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> "Programs".
        Check the box "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser".
        Then click "OK" button to apply this setting.  Then exit IE.
        
 

ii.    Restart IE and when the following windows pop up,
        uncheck the box "Always perform this check when starting Internet Explorer".
        Click "Yes" button to change the default browser to Internet Explorer.
