Information Security Awareness Creativity Contest 2012

To promote Information Security in the University, Computer Centre will organize an Information Security Awareness Creativity Contest on 13 March 2012. The contest is open to all HKU students and staff and its theme is on "Personal Data Protection". Contestants can show their talents on stage through drama, singing, cheer, etc. to demonstrate the importance of personal data protection. Some of the contest details are highlighted below:

Competition Details:

Date: 13 March 2012
Time: 1:00 - 2:00pm
Venue: Sun Yat Sen Place
Main Theme: Personal Data Protection
Performance type: Drama/ Singing/ Talk show/ Rap/ Cheer
Performance length: 30s - 10 Mins

Shortlisted Entrants will be invited to audition. Ten selected Entrants will take part in the final competition on 13 March 2012.

Result announcement and prize awarding ceremony will be held right after the contest at Sun Yat Sen Place.

Contest Rules:

1. This contest is open to all HKU students and staff, except Computer Centre staff, with a valid staff or student number.

2. Enrollments can be submitted by individuals or groups.

3. All participants should enroll by submitting the online application form on or before 29 Feb 2012.

4. The performance must be the original work of the entrant, who should ensure there is no infringement of the rights of others and copyright.

5. The performance can be done in either English or Chinese.

6. The organizers reserve the right to use any recorded videos for publicity, exhibition and publication purposes.

7. The organizers have no liability for the quality, availability and warranty of the prizes supplied. Any dispute or complaint in respect of the prizes should be directed to the relevant prizes suppliers.

8. All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of the organizers.
