Delivery Specifications
Format: FLV, MPEG, MPG, MP2, MP4, WMV, MOV or AVI
Size: 20MB or smaller (If the video size is larger than
20MB, please upload it to youtube and send the website link
to us)
Video Length: 30s – 200s
Contest Rules:
1. This contest is open to all HKU students and staff,
except Computer Centre staff, with a valid staff or student
number.
2. The videos can be submitted by individuals or groups.
3. Each of the submitted videos must include name, student / staff number,
telephone number, and email address of the participants.
4. Each of the submitted videos must include a title of not more than 10 words
and a short caption of not more than 200 words.
5. Each participant/group can submit a maximum of 3 videos.
6. Each participant/group can have only ONE prize regardless of the number of
submissions in this contest.
7. Entrants should keep the videos in original size and are required to submit
them to the organizers upon requested.
8. The submitted videos must be the original work of the entrant, who should
ensure there is no infringement of the rights of others and copyright.
9. The organizers reserve the right to use any entry video for publicity,
exhibition and publication purposes.
10. The organizers have no liability for the quality, availability and warranty
of the prizes supplied. Any dispute or complaint in respect of the prizes should
be directed to the relevant prizes suppliers.
11. All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of the
organizers.

Announcement of results:
- The Computer Centre will shortlist 10 videos in March 2011.
- The shortlisted videos will be posted at Computer Centre video server and broadcasted at U-Vision and Campus TV. Students and staff will be invited to vote for the videos
- Final Results will be announced on the Computer Centre web site in April
2011.
- Notifications will be sent to all award winners.
- Awarded videos will be posted at Computer Centre video server and broadcasted at U-Vision
and Campus TV.
