We are pleased to announce that SUN Microsystems, Inc. has offered
all the staff and students of the tertiary education institutions in Hong
Kong the right to use StarOffice 7.0 Office Suite on computers that they
own, operate, or maintain direct control over. The Computer Centre
is now in the process of working out an arrangement with SUN Microsystems
for distributing the software, and will inform our users separately as
soon as such an arrangement could be fixed.
