The Computer Centre has been experiencing quite a bit of staff turnover in recent months.  This is attributable to the high demand for I.T. personnel in Hong Kong as the society puts more focus on I.T. developement and the use of technology as a whole.

We welcome the following new members to the Computer Centre:

Mr Chan Cheung Yung joined the Centre on July 10, 2000.  Mr Chan received his Bachelor of Engineering  (Information Engineering) degree in 1998 from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.   He is working in the Administration Support Team in supporting the administrative application development projects of the University.

We bid farewell to the following staff, wishing them every success in their future endeavors:

Ms Siu Fai who left on July 3, 2000,
Mr Danny Wong Man Kit who left on July 24, 2000, and
Mr Ng Sau Chin who left on August 7, 2000.
