2.1. Login path for Students:
1. Login Page
Students accessing HKU Portal (https://hkuportal.hku.hk) will see the following login page. They can login the system using the HKU Portal UID and PIN.
2. After login, students will see the various functions available under different tabs as described in the above section on "Portal Services".
3. While security measures have been tightened up to increase the
protection of HKU Portal PIN such as through the mandatory change of PIN every
12 months and hardening of password algorithm,
students are reminded to safeguard the HKU Portal PIN at all time.
4. For more details on SIS, please visit the web page at
http://www.hku.hk/reserved_1/sisandhcm/ (requires authentication using HKU
Portal UID and PIN).
2.2. Login path for Staff:
1. Login Page
Staff accessing HKU Portal (https://hkuportal.hku.hk) will see the following login page.
They can login the system using the HKU Portal
UID and PIN.
2. After login, staff will see the various functions available under different tabs as described in the above section on "Portal Services" .
3. Staff members can access the student related applications via the link “Student Information System” under the menu of My Page. The SIS User Guide for instructors is available here.
4. While security measures have been tightened up to
