High Performance Fortran Programming by Dr. A C Marshall

This is the main index page for the Course.

This course is divided into three parts:

The main index page gives a list of all the Slides. Clicking on a hypertext link will display the slide which gives an overview of the particular topic. If this Slide does not contain enough information then click on the ``further information'' button at the bottom of the page. This link will take you to the Course Notes where more details should be found.

To get back to the Slides, use the ``Back'' button supplied with the browser (this is also available as a menu item too).

Occasionally, when enough information has been presented, an exercise is set; you will see a button for this at the bottom of the page. Some of the exercises have program ``templates'' to start you on your way. You will have to open an xterm window (on a unix system) in order to develop programs that will answer the question. Contact you systems administrator for details of how to compile programs.
